My name is Braeden Alberstein, and I was awarded the Provident Salierno Music Scholarship in 2021 on behalf of the Salierno family! I have continuously been “face-to-face” with music, whether that be in the form of school, listening to it, playing it, or even composing it. Music is what has made me who I am today. In fact, music has helped me perform better in academics, relationships, personal excellence and critical thinking. I am to attend Fresno State University as a Music Education major. During my time at Fresno State, I will be participating in many ensembles alongside other musicians in hopes of becoming a high school band director.
